Welcome to the University of Utah. We know you have a lot of questions about
college. And we’re here to make the transition to the U easier. The Transfer Sudent Handbook was created to be a guide and help you navigate all that the University of Utah has
to offer.
Swoop Camp Crimson is an extended orientation program catered exclusively to incoming
transfer students. Our backyard is Utah’s great outdoors. Sign up for Swoop Camp Crimson,
get outside, and take advantage of everything that Utah has to offer.
Crimson Mentors is a peer mentorship program designed to support our transfer student
population. Incoming transfer students are paired with current transfer student mentors
who have made the most of their University of Utah experience. Our team of mentors
are excited to meet you and provide community.
Transfer Workshop Series is a convenient way to connect with campus partners and learn
about valuable university resources. These are designed specifically for transfer
students. Workshops take place throughout the academic year - see you there!
Crimson Transfer Honor Society (CTHS) is the only transfer-specific honor society
at the U. CTHS provides academic recognition, scholarship opportunities, and community
engagement. Learn more about membership requirements and how to get involved.
Weeks of Welcome are designed to help you start your year off right. Kick-off your
first semester at the U by attending the New Student Welcome with President Watkins,
strolling through the Get Involved Fair, and attending the Crimson Mentor Kick-off.
