What is the Transfer Scholars Program? 

The Transfer Scholars Program (TSP), offered through the Office of Transfer Student Success, is a year-long program to help new transfer students succeed at the University of Utah. It builds community and provides access to scholarship opportunities, academic resources, student success services, peer support, and mentorship from transfer ambassadors.

When to Apply 

  • Applications open for Fall 2025 cohort are now open & applications close August 1st, 2025
  • Apply once admitted to the University of Utah

Program Requirements

Accepted Scholars Must:
    Attend at least 1 academic advising appointment (1st semester)
    Meet with a Student Success Coach OR Career Coach
    Attend 2 TSS transfer workshops (1st semester) 
    Join academic & social events throughout the year
